The Viaduct of Dreams

Michiel and I are a model and photographer duo based in Brighton, East Sussex.
We have an undeniable passion for creativity which is conveyed uniquely with each shoot.
Our inspiration comes from the ares of outstanding natural beauty found in Sussex which feature as a backdrop to our shoots.

With years of experience working together, we have a deep understanding of each other’s vision. We bring out the best in each other by combining our talents, we bring visions to life and capture the essence of dreams in stunning images.

The Inspiration behind ‘The Viaduct Of Dreams’

The Viaduct of dreams is inspired by the Ouse Valley Viaduct in Balcombe, West Sussex. It was built in 1838 to carry the Brighton to London train line. On our way to a different location for this shoot, we decided at the last minute to visit The Viaduct as we were close by. We were overwhelmed by the sheer size of the structure, its beauty and its simplicity that connected with us. Over the years. Michiel and I have travelled between London and Brighton to pursue our dreams for ‘Moa and Michael’ via this bridge. Being there reminded us that building this bridge once was someone’s dream at some point. It was bigger than them and appeared out of reach, but still, they pursued it, and hundreds and thousands of people still use the bridge to pursue their dreams. We hope that people who see this shoot feel the same way we felt on that day, that no dream is too big!
